The opening event of the season, held on Oct. 19, 2010, was the highly successful installation of the new president and New Board of Directors, co chaired by Iris Schnipper, and Selma Goldman  125 members attended the luncheon in the Provincial Room, catered by Panache.  this luncheon was free to all paid up members.

 

The new officers installed were Geri Schlenker, President, Gail Hoffman, Vice President, New Board of Directors: A. J. Liechtenstein, Shirley Rosen, Phyllis Slavin, Sandy Stretcher and Rhoda Roth child.

 

The officers discharged from their term of office were Myrna Stone and Shirley Braverman, Past President.  they made a brief speech thanking the Board of Directors of their support.

 

Geri Schlenker, Newly elected president, gave a short speech asking for the Board of Directors to help her achieve her goal of being the best president ever.  She thanked the chair people for doing an outstanding job organizing this event.  She then listed all the activities for the coming months and asked for the participation of all members to make this the best year ever.
